Food Allergies & Intolerances
At Nevada Dining, we take food allergy issues seriously. Food Allergies and Intolerances - Making Food Choices Easier and Safer is a guide written to help students in making the appropriate choices at Nevada Dining. This guide contains useful tips and information on how students with food allergies and intolerances can recognize food ingredients, avoid what they are allergic to and eat safely.
Concerned About Gluten
At Nevada Dining, we do our best to accommodate students with special dietary needs. This includes those who must avoid gluten due to Celiac Disease. Our Concerned About Gluten Dining Guide is full of information on how to search for made-without-gluten choices in our menu database, how to identify gluten and hidden sources of gluten in menu items, and describes where additional made-without gluten-food is stored.
Students on a vegetarian or vegan diet will find a variety of options at Nevada Dining. The Vegetarian and Vegan Options Dining Guide provides information on how to identify vegetarian and vegan choices. It includes vegetarian nutrition information and tips on how to use food cards to identify selections at each food station throughout the dining area.
