Singapore
Additional information and the application will be available for students Fall 2022.
Honors students have the unique opportunity to travel to Singapore in January 2023 for an immersive cultural travel experience. During this one-week trip, students will learn about Asia-Pacific trade, explore modern arts and culture, and network with students from University’s College of Business. They will also have an opportunity to visit some of Singapore’s internationally known sites, including the iconic Marina Bay Sands, the Gardens by the Bay, and the Changi Airport.
Students will be accompanied by Jim McClenahan and Professor Kelly Keselica. Jim is the Director of Corporate Relations and Outreach, and he coordinates ten different travel programs within the College of Business. Professor Keselica teaches courses in the College of Engineering, is an experienced traveler and regularly escorts student groups to local and foreign destinations.

COVID-19 Statement: The safety and security of our students, faculty and staff is our highest priority. Because novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is still affecting communities across the country and the world, the trip could be postponed. Though we are currently moving forward with plans, a final decision will be made about six weeks before travel. The decision will be based on world health guidelines, CDC recommendations, and travel recommendations to/from Singapore. All fees will be refunded if the trip is cancelled. However, students should wait to purchase airline tickets until the final decision is made, or they should reserve refundable airfare.
