This arts and cultural festival features over 500 multidisciplinary events including music, dance, theater, visual arts, workshops, art walks and much more.  Offering a majority of events free to the public, Artown invests in bringing artists of the highest caliber to Reno while elevating Reno's own local talent.  Experience fun for the whole family and celebrate all that the arts have to offer.

The Biggest Little City Wingfest
Join the Silver Legacy and Downtown Reno for the 4th Annual Biggest Little City Wing Fest! This All-American event spices up Virginia Street and brings over 65,000 attendees and serves over 20,000 pounds of chicken wings each year! This year's event is sure to be the biggest yet with three days of finger lickin' chicken wings, live entertainment on outdoor stages, street faire vendors, a VIP Hen House and local celebrity wing judges!

Star Spangled Sparks
The region's longest, most spectacular fireworks display is set off from the roof of Nugget Casino Resort while thousands of revelers celebrate July 4th on Victorian Square below. The event features live entertainment for the whole family, a kid's area and an array of food choices.

Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival
Imagine your toes in the sand, a fantastic bottle of wine nearby, a gourmet meal and first-class entertainment with your friends and family, all while basking in a perfect Lake Tahoe sunset. You're not dreaming, you're experiencing the enchantment of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival at Sand Harbor State Park.  The amphitheater is one of the most scenic venues in the world.

Hot August Nights
The Biggest Little City shifts into high gear for Hot August Nights, the largest classic car and nostalgic event in the country! Thousands of visitors come to pay tribute to the exquisitely powerful automobiles and electrifying music of the 50's, 60's and early 70's.  The world's premier classic car event, Hot August Nights showcases more than 6,000 vehicles from this golden era of design with events all over Reno and Sparks.  Restored hot rods and sexy muscle cars give enthusiasts a first-hand experience of popular decades gone by.

Reno Greek Festival
Be greek for the weekend at this annual festival!  Authentic Greek cuisine crafted by the members of the St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church infuses the neighborhood with scents of oregano, olive oil and lemon. Traditional Greek dance, music, desserts, and imports create a Mediterranean atmosphere and a family friendly environment. Sharing the Greek culture with the community for nearly 40 years.

The Great Reno Balloon Race
This will be the 35th year for one of Reno's most colorful and spectacular events! Sure, it might be a bit earlier than you're used to waking up, but you won't regret it for a moment!  Past awards include "Best Special Event in Reno" and "Best Special Event in Northern Nevada."

Best In The West Nugget Rib Cook-Off
If you love ribs and BBQ, then be sure to attend America's BEST rib competition, August 31-September 5!  The 28th annual Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off, hosted by the Nugget Casino Resort, transforms the Labor Day holiday into a must-attend culinary, music, craft, and family end-of-summer affair.  Come out to Sparks Victorian Square and enjoy ribs from up to 24 of the best cookers from across the world!
