Goal: $500M
On Oct. 3, 2017, the University of Nevada, Reno celebrated the public launch of the capital campaign that will secure the future of our campus and our state. With a goal of raising $500 million, Building What Comes Next: The Campaign for the New Nevada is a vital initiative destined to solidify the University's role as a key to the economic prosperity and stability of Nevada. University President Marc Johnson announced that more than $288 million in support had already been raised from the early phase of the campaign begun in 2013. The support we receive through the campaign enables us to build on a tradition of excellence by attracting world-renowned experts to educate and train the best and brightest students for leadership roles in our community and around the globe—just as we've done since 1874.
We invite you to see how the University continues its tradition of excellence through the three pillars of higher education—learning, discovery and engagement—and to explore the work done by every college and division. We hope you will be inspired by our vision and help us reach our goal to improve the future of our state through the Campaign for the New Nevada.
