I’m currently studying pore structures and permeability of glacial firn microstructure through analyzing micro-CT images and leveraging tools of computational fluid dynamics. While studying Physics and Astronomy as an undergraduate, I received a broad understanding of research fields and techniques before making the decision to understand paleoclimate records and join the effort to make informed decisions on how to combat climate change. Professionally and academically, I’m most interested in being involved with work that is intellectually challenging and can directly improve the quality of people's lives. When not working, adventure and philosophy motivate me to experience the world through conversation, travel, art, music, and a wide variety of outdoor activities.
