I grew up in southeast Ohio, and received my bachelor's degree in geology from Ohio University in 2018. While at OU (go Bobcats!), my appreciation for the West was sparked by attending field camp in Montana and Wyoming. My grad school plans were solidified after taking an economic geology course, and now I'm working in the Center for Research in Economic Geology (CREG) program here at UNR, advised by Dr. John Muntean. My thesis project is focused on the paragenesis and fluid inclusion properties of a group of epithermal deposits in the Union district of northern Nye County, Nevada. Outside of research, my interests include hiking, off-roading, and appreciating Nevada's dry climate.
