Summary

I am a geophysicist by training, and mostly a geodesist by profession. I use geodetic measurements, mostly GPS, to track very precisely how the tectonic plates move and the crust deforms. This information opens various types of inquiries into the implication for seismic hazard, the forces that drive the lithosphere, and the evolution of plate boundary zones. In related work I am finding ways to improve the analysis of GPS time-series, and tackle earthquake statistics.
