  • Should I live on-campus?

    We think all first-year students should live on campus! Living on campus can be a very special and rewarding part of your experience at the University of Nevada, Reno. By living in a residence hall, students can enjoy the convenience of being only minutes away from classrooms, the library and food service. The department of Residential Life, Housing and Food Service provides students with a variety of living options, including eight residence halls.   • Housing assignments & roommates

    When you receive your housing assignment in July, your email will contain a link to complete your check-in paperwork online and sign up for a check-in time.

    Move In Days for 2019

    • NevadaFIT: Saturday, August 17, 2019 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
    • General move-in: Thursday, August 22, 2019 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

    Your housing assignment email will contain your roommate’s name and email address so you can begin discussing expectations and what you are bringing.
