Can I still file a report with Equal Opportunity/Title IX?
Yes, Title IX staff are working remotely for the safety of our community. Our team will facilitate assistance via telephone, email and Zoom to ensure you receive the help you require. Staff will not answer phones, but will actively monitor emails, voice messages and reports submitted through the online reporting system. Phone calls may be returned from a private or unlisted number. Please rest assured that we remain committed to addressing concerns of discrimination and seeing that Every Member of The Pack is Treated With Dignity and Respect. Reports can be filed from the EO/Title IX website.
Are Equal Opportunity/Title IX sponsored trainings available?
Yes, EO/Title IX will continue training and awareness initiatives during the time of remote operations by continuing the Law Room program and creating and conducting virtual and electronic programs for departments and students. Please send your requests for training to EOTIX@unr.edu.
Can I still request American with Disabilities Act or Religious accommodations?
Yes, ADA and Religious accommodation requests can still be made. EO/Title IX will continue to process these requests utilizing remote means to include obtaining medical documentation via fax and conducting reviews via electronic means.
Are Equal Opportunity/Title IX investigations continuing?
Yes, EO/Title IX continues to work on cases and processing will continue utilizing electronic means where possible. Interviews, meetings, etc. will be conducted via electronic means.
