Summary

Mark Farnsworth is a native of Reno. He received his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Nevada.

His dissertation, "John Bale and the National Identity and Church of Tudor England," looks at the influence of John Bale on the Church of England in his own time and beyond. 

Farnsworth also was an assistant editor of The Shakespeare First Folios: A Descriptive Catalogue. He has been a teacher at the University since 2005 and is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the English department.
