Jessica Campbell joined the University of Nevada, Reno, as a term lecturer in Fall 2016; she teaches English 100J, 101 and 102. She received her Ph.D. in 2015 from the University of Washington, where she taught composition and literature courses at all levels. Her dissertation was entitled Tradition and Transformation: Fairy Tales in the Victorian Novel. She is currently at work on a related book project called The Brontës and the Fairy Tale from Angria to England. In addition to Victorian literature and fairy tales, her research interests include cinema and television studies, British Romanticism, and the figure of the Doppelgänger.
