Summary
In addition to teaching undergraduate writing courses, Alissa Surges has taught in the Gender, Race, and Identity program and is one of the English Department's academic advisors. She has worked for three academic journals as a managing editor and copy editor and has edited and copy edited numerous monographs, academic articles and websites. Surges is the David Heston Fenimore Distinguished Teaching Fellow of English.
