Core Writing Instructor Handbook

Core Writing Program courses are taught by faculty, term lecturers, teaching assistants, and instructors on Letter of Appointment (LOAs). The Core Writing Program is administered by the Core Writing Program director and the Core Writing Program Standing Committee. The Core Writing Program Standing Committee is comprised of the Core Writing Program director, the assistant directors, and faculty from the English Department. Additionally, the Core Writing Committee is assisted by the gWPAs and the Online and LOA coordinators. Together, this group advises the director on policy and curriculum and organizes and execute other program responsibilities.
