Dankook University is located in Jukjeon, South Korea, which is a metropolitan area just outside of Seoul. Established in 1947, Dankook was Korea's first private university.
Today, the school has a number of colleges on two campuses that have been recognized as among the best in Korea, including the College of Engineering.
The University offers eight engineering majors for students:
- Electronics and electrical engineering
- Polymer system engineering
- Fiber system engineering
- Software science
- Applied computer engineering
- Civil and environmental engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Chemical engineering
