How do I apply?
All applicants to EECB Ph.D. must apply through the University's Graduate School. In addition to meeting the Graduate School admissions requirements, EECB applicants must also meet the program-specific admissions requirements detailed on the EECB admissions information page, which include:
- Cumulative grade point average of 3.0
- GRE score above the 70th percentile (desired)
- TOEFL score of 600 or greater (international students only)
- Course work in physical sciences (6 credits)
- University mathematics courses, including calculus (6 credits)
- Organic chemistry or biochemistry courses (6 credits)
- Biology course work (24 credits, including genetics, evolution, and ecology), or equivalent evidence of ability to succeed in a doctoral program in ecology, evolution and conservation biology
