Dan Gallaher


Daniel L. Gallaher is a Senior Lecturer for Secondary Education and NevadaTeach.  Prior to joining the College of Education, he taught Mathematics and Computer Science in the Washoe County School District for nine years.  He is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher and has taught a variety of Mathematics and Computer Science courses, including the college level courses AP Statistics and AP Computer Science A.

His work with Secondary Education includes the development of Computer Science Education courses for teachers.  He is also currently teaching EDUC 447/647 Family Engagement.  In his position with NevadaTeach, he teaches courses and assists in facilitating field experiences for students in Mathematics and Science Education. 

In his free time, he can be found enjoying the outdoors with his family or playing music with friends.
