Summary
Ramya (r ah m - y ah ) is an Certified Professional Accountant with an Applied Statistics background who is an avid problem solver that doesn’t mind operating in the gray. Her professional career began at the State level where after four years she decided to stay at home with her kids and pursue her CPA license. The daughter of a former University Statistics Professor, upon returning to the workforce in 2017, her goal was to work at UNR where she has now been for the last four years.
In addition to her CPA license, Ramya holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Applied Statistics and a Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree.
When Ramya isn’t balancing budgets and accounting with an abacus, she moonlights as a soccer mom, often running three children around town to various athletic activities. When she does have time to herself she enjoys exploring Hot Springs around the country and immersing herself in random crafting projects for months at a time (the most recent being knitting beanies).
