Esmeray Ozdemir


Esmeray is the master teacher and the Director of the Pre-K classroom located at the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has an Elementary Education background, but has a passion for Early Childhood Education. Esmeray received her master’s degree in Special Education from the College of Education, University of Nevada, Reno. She is also in the process of pursuing her second master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from UNR. She is a certified TESOL teacher and a lifetime learner.

Her role as a teacher is being a facilitator to the children's learning through promoting their curiosity, nurturing their natural interests, providing opportunities to explore their abilities to solve problems, and guiding them to be responsible for their own learning.

Esmeray enjoys outdoor activities and hiking trails around Lake Tahoe. Her family is the best thing in her life, with two children and a cat, Yagmur, Burkay, and Sunny.
