ALTERNATIVE TESTING EXAM SCHEDULING REQUEST

Students are required to have a Proctoring Form completed and returned for each class, every semester.  A good time to do this is within the first two weeks of the new term.  A completed proctoring form should be submitted to the DRC before any exams for that class can be scheduled.  Please note that all Alternative Testing requests will be processed in the order they are received and are subject to testing room availability.

Please refrain from submitting a request until all completed proctoring forms have been submitted.  If you have not yet requested instructor letters for your course, please complete an Instructor Letter Request before completing this form.

Syllabi

It is the DRC's policy to schedule exams based on testing dates set by the Instructor.  Please follow the syllabi provided for each class when filling out an exam request.* Exams will be scheduled according to class start time (i.e. 8:00am).  An alternative time will only be permitted if there is a scheduling conflict (i.e. back-to-back classes).  Please schedule an appointment to meet with a DRC Testing staff member if any rescheduling is required.

* Final exam schedule can be found on the class syllabi and/or the UNR website.

Change or cancellation of scheduled exam

It is the student's responsibility to advise the DRC of any scheduled exam changes or cancellations.  Please reach out by e-mail (DRCTesting@unr.edu), telephone (775-784-6000), or stop by the DRC (Pennington Student Achievement Center, Suite 230) as soon as possible.  This will ensure that an Alternative Testing seat is reserved for the new date and/or time.
