Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Minor
The Medieval and Renaissance Studies Minor enables students to understand and explore the culture of the Middle Ages and Renaissance so they may better understand the roots of Western civilization. Students will take courses in a variety of disciplines from Art and History to Philosophy and Spanish. Undergraduate students will get a broad understanding of the Renaissance time-period from the end of the Roman Empire to the 16th century. Students must complete a total of 18 credits to meet the minor requirements and courses must come from at least two departments. Courses also must come from two different groupings and at least 12 credits must be from 300-and-above courses. See the course catalog for specific course requirements.
