Medieval and Renaissance studies is an appropriate minor for students majoring in the following disciplines: anthropology, art, criminal justice, English, world languages and literatures, history, mathematics, music, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, speech communication and theatre. This interdisciplinary program provides students with historical context and unique analytical skills to understand western culture. All undergraduate students are welcome to declare this minor, as it is not specific to any particular major. The Medieval and Renaissance Studies minor is a great option to enhance a variety of majors while offering students a deeper look into ancient history.
