History, Minor

Understanding and studying history advances the thought process to help individuals make critical decisions in all professions. History as a field of concentration, is designed for those students interested in acquiring a comprehensive understanding of history for personal enrichment, or as a basis for advanced study and teaching of history.

Courses are offered in African, American, Asian, British and Irish, European, Latin American, and Russian history as well as specialized areas such as American studies, the history of medicine and science, and the history of the American West.
