Hour of Code

Students in a computer lab

February's Hour of Code Event has been postponed. Please check back for march dates.

Computer science is a foundation for every student. Help introduce it to millions.

All it takes is one Hour of Code.

Join us at the University of Nevada, Reno to get a taste of coding and meet experienced coders majoring in computer science and engineering.

Students age 6 to 18 are welcome, and no prior experience with math or computers is required.

We will be hosting the "Hour of Code" the following times.

The event is located in Scrugham Engineering and Mines room 231. You can get information about visitor parking on the University's parking services website

Individuals welcome, groups are encouraged. RSVP today, space is limited.

Please contact Dr. David Feil-Seifer at dave@cse.unr.edu with questions about registration.

We're planning many more exciting things for future coders in Reno. Visit codereno.org to learn more. We would like to thank Rex Briggs and Marketing Evolution for their support.

This event has been generously sponsored by Bally Technologies, a valued partner in computer science and engineering education, development, and outreach.
