Undergraduate Degrees

Criminal justice students interact with attorneys from public defender's office.

The Department of Criminal Justice offers two tracks for undergraduate students: criminal justice major or law and justice specialization.

Criminal Justice Major: The criminal justice major broadly focuses on the various components of the criminal justice system, criminological theory, and issues of diversity, mythology, and ethics.

Law and Justice Specialization: The interdisciplinary specialization focuses on law and justice theory and policy and includes courses in philosophy, as well as practical courses in legal research and writing.
