Thomas S. Roche is a doctoral intern in clinical psychology with a background in fiction and nonfiction writing and sex education. His prior engagements in psychotherapy and assessments include the Gender Health Center and Valley Neuropsychological Services, both in Sacramento. Prior to that, he spent 25 years as a volunteer member of the training staff at San Francisco Sex Information, an educational nonprofit that trains professionals in sex positive practice. His areas of interest include gender diverse and queer identities, human sexuality, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and mood disorders. His main therapeutic modalities include the Michael White model of narrative therapy (NT) as well as cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT).
