Summary
Tasman was born and raised in New York City and received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Long Island University in Brooklyn. Her interests include relationship difficulties, multicultural issues, trauma, ADHD and substance abuse treatment. Tasman utilizes multiple clinical approaches including psychodynamic therapy, management of suicidality and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), as well as other evidence-based approaches. She values culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ friendly treatment. Tasman believes that helping people understand who they are enhances their motivation, relationships and experience of joy. To relax, she enjoys hiking, hanging out with her dogs, and camping.
