Associate Director of Cooperative Extension

Summary

The Associate Director for Extension is senior member of the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension administration team and reports directly to the Associate Dean and Director for Extension. The Associate Director provides primary support for the Associate Dean and Director, including input for the development of needed policies and procedures, gathering and compiling data for reports, and developing/maintaining online reporting systems. In absence of the Director, or at the Director’s direction, the individual provides overall administrative leadership for Cooperative Extension. The individual serves as the state contact for program areas and provides leadership for effective programming. In addition, the Associate Director collaborates with stakeholders at the University of Nevada, Reno, across Nevada and nationally to address the challenges of Nevada.
