Academic and Research Interests
My research focuses on the determinants and consequences of financial reporting quality. My current work examines the relationship between financial misrepresentation and other forms of corporate misconduct and the usefulness of accounting information in debt contracting. My interests extend to reputation, managerial credibility, linguistic disclosure, and the influence on disclosure of political financing, lobbying, and corporate social responsibility.
