Eric R Horne, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Accounting. He conducts financial accounting research that investigates corporate governance, ethics, and firms’ relationships with non-owners, frequently working with novel, hand-collected data. His current work examines the role of debt covenants in corporate governance, the value orientation of auditors, and sustainability reporting. His interests extend to financial reporting quality, reputation, corporate social responsibility, lobbying, and labor relations.
