About the program:

The goal of the agricultural science major is to educate and prepare students to successfully compete for agricultural-related jobs in Nevada and throughout the world. The major emphasizes different agriculture production systems and economics and it covers the relationships among soils, plants, insects, animals, and the environment among other components of agricultural systems. We treasure Agriculture and we believe that a strong Agricultural Sector is a major driving force for our state and our country. We are committed to excellence in teaching and research, and we are devoted to community outreach.
