Biography: I am a first year PhD student with broad interests in hunter-gatherer archaeology and Great Basin prehistory. My dissertation research focuses on middle Holocene patterns of demography, settlement and land-use in the Great Basin. Additionally, I am interested in geoarchaeology and more specifically understanding the effects of the middle Holocene climate on patterns of archaeological site formation and preservation.
