Biography: I am a first year PhD student studying Tudor-era castles in southern England, particularly Nonsuch Palace in Surrey. I am interested in exploring how public archaeology can be used to make the public more involved with sites in their community, and how monumental architecture is seen in both the historic record and the modern era. I have been part of excavations in Israel, with experience in Ireland and Virginia.
