Biography: I am a third-year straight track Ph.D. student focusing on Paleoindian archaeology and lithic technological organization in the Great Basin. My research focuses primarily on lithic sourcing (XRF) and GIS modeling. I am particularly interested in finding new ways to understand and interpret Great Basin Paleoindian source profiles and what they may tell us about mobility, settlement patterning, and exchange during the Terminal Pleistocene and Early Holocene. My dissertation research focuses on the northwestern Great Basin and Guano Valley, Oregon more specifically. I have also conducted research across the state of Kentucky, as well as worked on projects in Veracruz, Mexico at the Olmec site of Tres Zapotes.
