Biography: Teddy is a third year Master's student in Cultural Anthropology. He is interested in Japanese culture and religion and is currently doing his thesis on Shinto practice in the United States. Teddy's interest in Shinto began with the senior thesis he did for his astronomy minor as an undergraduate. The topic of the thesis was Japanese ethnoastronomy, more specifically, it looked at why Japan associates itself with the Sun.
