Biography: Elizabeth is a fourth-year MA student in historical archaeology. Her previous research at New College of Florida focused on Victorian masculinities at several archaeological sites in the American West. Her MA thesis at UNR investigates sustainable archaeological tourism as a viable option for historic sites. Elizabeth has been a teaching assistant for both Introduction to Archaeology and Introduction to Cultural Anthropology. As part of her first teaching assistantship, she also worked in the UNR Anthropology Museum. She has also served as a research assistant for the Granite Creek Station and Trails (GCST) project, which investigated the Granite Creek Station site and associated emigrant trails and stage roads in the Black Rock Desert area during the summer of 2013. Elizabeth is currently an intern at the Nevada Historical Society, and serves as Secretary of the Graduate Board of Anthropology Students (BOASgrad).
