Parental Leave Statute:  AB 243 of the 2009 Legislative Session grants four (4) hours of parental leave per school year to a parent of a child enrolled in a public or private school.  This is applicable for classified and faculty employees.  For full details on what constitutes parental leave, click HERE to review the Memo PERD #48-09 from the Nevada State Department of Personnel.
