We encourage all new NRA employees to register for a New Nonresident Alien Employee Orientation offered through Professional Development & Training as soon as they arrive at the university.

Contact PD&T, PDT@unr.edu, when a UNR NetID is not yet available for the nonresident alien to register online. Please provide the registrant's first name, last name, and email address when registering.

NRAT Office recommends that departments process NRA employees' paperwork with a SINGLE-ZERO W-4 form (Sample PDF) prior to the new employee attending the New Nonresident Alien Employee Orientation. It will help facilitate processing new hire paperwork and prevent delays.
