You're standing in the middle of the quad in about 1928, looking
at the Mackay Mines Building, the north anchor of the quad. As you
look to your left, you can see the old Chemistry Building (which was
removed in 1957), Frandsen Humanities Building, the English Building
(now the Jones Visitor Center), Clark Library (now Clark
Administration) in the background, a small building in the trees (now
missing), Morrill Hall, and the old Mines Building (which was removed
in 1929) behind a parking lot that is full of new cars.
