An engineering consulting firm specializing in subsurface
ventilation and environmental engineering.

Mine Ventilation Services, Inc. (MVS) was formed in 1983 in response to a growing demand for engineering consulting expertise in the design, planning and control of underground environments. The company was founded by Malcolm McPherson, Ph.D., and Keith Wallace. MVS has provided engineering services to metal, coal and industrial mines, as well as services for tunnel and nuclear waste repositories. MVS also develops engineering software tools to assist with the task of simulating the subsurface environment.
