As a participant in the TRiO Scholars Program, you are able to request tutoring free of charge!

We are able to help with most classes; however, it might be harder to locate tutors for higher level courses. In addition to regularly scheduled tutoring sessions, we also provide access to writing assistance and have open hours for math. You can sign up for tutoring online anytime: Sign up for tutoring.
If you have trouble with the online request, please call the TRiO Scholars office at (775) 784-6044.
For more thorough information about writing assistance, please visit our writing assistance page: Writing Assistance.
For math assistance at anytime of the day or night, this link covers everything from algebra through all levels of calculus, differential equations, and linear algebra: Math Notes and Formula Sheets.
We value your comments to help us assess our tutors and to bring you the best tutoring experience possible.
Please give us feedback to let us know how our tutors are doing: Evaluate a tutor.
If you are interested in becoming a tutor for the TRiO Scholars Program, please contact Daniel Valle for information.
