Why Transfer?

Transfer Scholarships

Transfer students with less than 90 credits who have completed an application and submitted official transcripts to the University by February 1st will be awarded scholarships, as long as GPA is met and student is enrolled full time (12 credits or more). If funds are available, transfer students admitted for the spring term by November 1st will also be awarded scholarships (must be enrolled full time). Spring only scholarship awards may not be applied to student account prior to the fee due. Please pay all fees on time and, if funds are awarded late, a refund will be issued to the student.

Award AmountCumulative GPA
$1,500 3.30-3.74
$2,500 3.75-4.00

Between November and February 1 of each year, to be eligible for any institutional scholarship, continuing Nevada students must complete the scholarship application in MyNEVADA. Go to Student Center, Supplemental Forms, Scholarship Application. Newly admitted transfer students are not required to complete this application but are highly encouraged to do so.

Several departments and colleges award based on supplemental applications - please complete whichever applications are relevant to your studies.
