Lombardi Recreation Center
Completed in 1974, this recreation facility was named after Dr. Louis Lombardi, who was an athletic physician for Nevada, a former member of the Board of Regents, and a graduate of the University of Nevada. Lombardi Recreation Center contains an Olympic-size swimming and diving pool, and basketball, handball and tennis courts, as well as a sports equipment rental office. In addition, Lombardi also houses the Wellness Center, a fully equipped weight room and gym, and the Intramural Sports and Department of Health Ecology offices.
