How I plan on integrating technology into my teaching: When I was in middle school one of my teachers was going to write a note home for me - reason not relevant. Instead of writing it, she typed it and I asked her why. She said that when you get good at typing, often you will find that it takes less time than writing, it is cleaner and looks more professional, and editing what you have written is a lot easier when typing. That is when I first realized the significance of having the use of technology available to students when they are in the lower grades. Technology is the ticket to the modern world, without it, where would be be? With that in mind - where will we be in the coming years if our children were to not receive this vital gift, this technological advancement, when they are at the climax of their learning capacity? To teach this gift to them would be an honor.
