Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2005

Major: Secondary Education, English

Technology skills: Microsoft Windows 98, 2000, and XP; MS Word, PowerPoint, Frontpage and Excel; Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks and various other programs.

My technology examples: Using PowerPoint for various classroom demonstrations, designing, building, and maintaining websites, troubleshooting computer aggravations for various friends and family.

How I plan on integrating technology into my teaching: Teaching students to utilize the Internet as a resource tool instead of just a way to fool around. Demonstrating how PowerPoint is an effective tool for presenting professional presentations. Becoming comfortable with typing and using all the aspects MS Word and other word processing programs have to offer. Using WebCT to stay on top of classwork. There are so many aspects of computers that can be utlilized in the classroom for so many reasons, it is hard to pinpoint a few.
