Technology skills: The majority of my technological experience has been in the business world.
Therefore the applications that I am most comfortable using are Microsoft
Office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet
Explorer. I also have experience using various accounting software packages
such as Peachtree, Quicken, Microsoft Money and TurboTax to name a few. I'm
looking forward to learning new applications that will apply more directly
to my current field of education.
How I plan on integrating technology
into my teaching: I plan to integrate technology into my classroom by using it to enhance my own
classroom management/organization and lesson planning. I will also encourage my
students to use technology whenever possible, hopefully teaching them to
recognize that the Internet and other programs are valuable resources that can
be used beyond the classroom.
