Anticipated graduation date: Spring 2005

Major: Elementary Education

Technology skills: I currently use all of your basic Windows applications as well as Photoshop, iTunes, and the Internet. I also own an iPod and a digital camera, both of which have given me new opportunities to use technology. I do look forward to enhancing my skills in terms of these programs and others I may not be familiar with.

My technology examples: I have created numerous PowerPoint presentations for many of my courses at UNR--I'm not claiming they were fantastic, but I can do it! I have also used Photoshop to manipulate my digital photographs, send them to friends, etc.

How I plan on integrating technology into my teaching: I will use technology to give students opportunities for research, creativity, expression, and simplicity. I want my students to have the knowledge of a multitude of technological advances; many of which society is still unaware.
