It is a growing country that many ESL teachers move into for experiences or long-term staying. In general, cost of living in Mexico is incredibly so inexpensive that a middle class family of four can live on $250 to $300 (US dollars) per month all over Mexico. Compared to other countries, top-quality healthcare only costs $250 per year, which can be broken down into $22 per month. When ESL teachers need to rent an apartment, mostly it will cost $150~250 per month for a rent, and it is generally safe environment for living in Mexico. Cost of food is also so cheap that a full dinner won t exceed more than $20 by the finding from the websites. Mexican food is spicy and has a different style of each region, and its famous items are tacos, tamales, burritos, enchiladas, and so on. </p> <p> Education system in Mexico consists of primary school to high school, and there are also private schools and ESL institutes. It is a centralized curriculum that is made a decision by government. Its national language is Spanish, and English language is much demanding over the country. Mexicans are motivated to learn English with various reasons, from general English to business and ESP. </p> <p> In a job opportunity for ESL teaching, there are many opportunities for ESL teachers. Mostly, travel expense, health care, and accommodation are provided as a benefit, and salary range is generally around $1000~1500 (US dollars). In order to work in Mexico, FM3 visa or work permit are required, and qualifications for ESL teachers are diploma, TESOL/TESL/CELTA certificate, references, resume, birth certificate, passport and any other official documents. </p> <p> In overall, Mexico is a culturally and economically developing country which ESL teachers are much interested in moving into for the work experiences or long-term staying.
