Students at UNR have many options when it comes to majoring in academic subjects focusing on the environment. Whether you are interested in majoring in a scientific discipline or have interests in the humanities, social sciences, economics, or the arts, there are departmental programs on campus that offer majors and associated curricula that will enable you to pursue that aspect of the environment which you are most interested.

The diversity of graduate programs at UNR that offer environmentally-oriented degrees is extraordinary. Currently, the Graduate School offers over 20 degree programs leading to either M.S. and/or Ph.D. degrees with an emphasis on the environment. Most of these graduate programs are housed in academic departments; however, several are campus-wide interdisciplinary programs, involving faculty from across campus.
