In 2007, President Glick signed the American College & University President Climate Commitment. A requirement of this commitment is to develop a plan to reduce the university’s greenhouse gas emissions and create a more sustainable campus. In an effort to meet this commitment, UNR established a Sustainability Committee that is developing a plan to create and expand its efforts this area.
