The Commuting and Transportation Working Group is responsible for reviewing the alternate transportation options available on campus and making recommendations for enhancements.  The university has a fairly extensive program in place, which includes providing incentives for carpooling, biking, walking, riding a motorcycle, or taking public transportation to campus.  There is a campus shuttle service and a ridesharing website, as well.

Enhancements that have been made to the program include: increasing awareness of the programs that are available by providing information, promotions and incentives at The Green Summit, Earth Week, and other campus functions; marketing transportation options at sorority and fraternity houses; increasing the number of motorcycle spaces, bicycle lockers and racks on campus to meet increased demand; and making recommendations to increase the efficiency of transportation operations.
